Sharon, I enjoyed that you shared your dark questions from your travels from age nine and up! Like you, I imagine secrets and crime possiblities everywhere. Is Book 4 Death Takes a Knight??? I look forward to reading it, whatever the title.
Thank you Sherrill! And yes, Book 4 is Death Takes a Knight! It features - you guessed it - chess themes, but also pulls a lot of inspiration from Arthurian legends. I am so glad you are looking forward to reading it!
Love it, Sharon! I have a soft spot for Britain and its treasures ... esp. the Cotswolds. I was fortunate enough to spend time in Oxford and travel the countryside. Stuffed in a hatchback, eh? Reminds me of being stuffed in the back of family station wagon for family trips. As the youngest, I had few choices. Like being stuck in a rolling greenhouse. ☀️ 😉🚗
And if anyone would like to be an Advanced Reviewer of Death Takes a Knight, please send me an email through my website: https://sharonlwrites.com/contact. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on book 4! 🏰🗡🛡️
I always chomp at the bit when I know another installment of A Cotswold Crimes Mystery Series is coming down the pike. Woohoo!
Oh, thank you Laurie!!!
Applause, applause! Maddie's backstory and yours are wonderful--a perfect blend of experience, talent, and a passion for storytelling.
Thank you so much Saralyn :)
So great to read about your background and travels, Sharon. I really enjoy your books!
Thank you Margaret!
A writer's brain is always working!!

Haha! A rolling greenhouse is right. Britain certainly is full of treasures, Oxford especially for any C.S. Lewis and Tolkien fans!

Congratulations on the extension of your series! I too drew much writing inspiration from my travels. And this family trips were quite something.
