Wow, are you organized! I don't know how you have enough time in each day to get through that schedule. love your favorite things. I too love crème brûlée.
I love your list! It's so smart to do this. It's easy to let things slip through the cracks otherwise because there is a lot to manage. (I was just looking at my download folder and thinking that I really should do something about that -- perhaps put the downloads that need saving in their proper document folder?) And just so you know--I look forward to the photos you share from your walks. It's a bright spot in my day!
Oh Laurie, this post was just fabulous to read! I really enjoyed your "My Favorite Things" list, tulips are my favorite flower as well. :) Re-reading To Kill a Mockingbird every New Year's Day also sounds like a wonderful tradition, that was the novel that got my daughter interested in reading classic American literature!
I love your daily schedule! I wish I was that organized. :) I was also 5'8" by seventh grade. Everyone said I'd quit growing, but I did manage to add 3 more inches before I was done. It's fun being a "tall girl," isn't it? I really enjoyed getting to know more about you! I really enjoyed ILLUSIONIST! :)
This is amazing! I am impressed with your organization and dedication. It makes so much sense to have a list of all the items that need to be done. I may steal this idea. I love the list of interesting facts too. I was 6' by grade 8 so I understand. :) Great post.
Sharon — I'm not at all surprised that "To Kill a Mockingbird" launched your daughter's interest in classic American literature. I'm glad you enjoyed the "My Favorite Things" list. And clearly, great minds think alike when it comes to tulips being one's favorite flower. Here's to a terrific week!
You are an inspiration, Laurie. We can all take something from your ta-da list. Now I'm inspired to organize my list into a printable sheet. As published authors, there's so much to do. A daily reminder would be so helpful! Thanks
Wow, Laurie, it's easy to see that your self-discipline and organization help you in your success as an author. I LOVE your checklist! It also overwhelms me. :)
But the idea of it is very appealing as it's easy for things (online/on the computer, especially) to slip through the cracks unnoticed.
Thanks for this great intro, it was fun getting to know you better.

Crème brûlée is the BEST!! Love that little crack when your spoon hits the sugary topping!
Yes—it’s the BEST!🌷

Valerie, our laptop/computer is vital to what we do—write! So it makes good sense to keep it clear of clutter so it doesn't get bogged down.
I'm so glad you enjoy my "Walking My Muse" photos. Thank you for letting me know!

Kathleen — While in my mind, I belong to the Amazon tribe of women (😂), I'm inches shorter than you and Colleen!

Colleen — Please feel free to use the list idea and modify it in a way that works for you.
Six foot by eighth grade—Whoa!
I admire your discipline, @lauriebuchanan!
Thank you, Victoria!🌷
Just when I think I know all about you, you throw me a curve ball. Creme brulee? I would have taken you for a warm bread pudding kind of gal. :)
Saralyn — Make no mistake, I enjoy warm bread pudding too 😋
